The John WEST and the William WEST that are mentioned in "The Leedom Family" by Sara A.L.Eachus, Dorrance & Co., 828 Lancaster Ave Bryn Mawr PA. Pub 1982, could they have ended up in Tennessee? Still trying to find information on the WESTS from Hawkins County (mostly), Tennessee. Also found a new name among my research. In the 1880 census from Hawkins County, TN, Sarah J., daughter of Sarah WEST is living with her Mother, sister, Lydia, brother, George (my grandfather), husband, Joseph BOWMAN (new name) and 1 year old son, John.
