He is shown living with wife, Elizabeth ?, b. 1805, in the home of his son, John West. In the 1870 Census, William is listed as 78, living in the home of Isaiah Curd, age 53 and Mahala age 41. William R. WEST and Elizabeth ? had the following children: i. Delilah WEST, ii. John WEST. Delilah WEST b. Aug 1835 in Carter Co, TN., m. Vincent G. MOREFIELD, b. Sep 1829 in Carter Co, TN (son of John B. MOREFIELD Jr. and Elizabeth (MOREFIELD)) on 19 Jul 1853 in Johnson County, TN. Delilah WEST and Vincent G. MOREFIELD had the following children: i.
