Denise Your enquiry about your Grandfather intriqued me since I have family line in KC although I don't recognize any in your list. My Great Grandfather Silas Mercer West had a brother Howard who married Jesse James aunt (Elizabeth James) and was a prominent citizen in KC in the 1800's. In browsing thru a KC visitors guide a few years ago I came across a brief article about a West Family cemetery in Raytown. Do you know anything about this?
