I am going to try this again. I am trying to find info on my great grandfather John Wesley West. He married Louisa Allen Parrish Brock who had 3 children, Sam Mollie, & Lillie. They took the name of West and then John and Louisa had 3 sons, John M, James Harrelson, and William Franklin. I know Louisa is in the 1880 Cherokee NC census. I wonder if that is where they married. I have no other dates. I know James Harrelson was born 1888 in Piedmont, Etowah Cty, Al. I have been told they then moved to Mississippi around the Lux, Petal area.
