In consideration of $1 conveyance of 200 acres by Simeon West, originally laid off by Terrell to the said West including the farm on which said West now resides as described in a deed from Richard Terrell to the said West. Alsot he following slaves and personal estate, a Negro woman slave named Phillis, on other woman named Sue and her children to wit: Poll, Jim, Jack, Maria, & September and two work horses, two other horses, two milk cows and calves, two beef cattle, one half the clack of hogs on the farm, twenty five sheep, four beds, bedsteads and furniture, twelve chairs, and one half of all other household and kitchen furniture now in possessio of said West, one  half of all poultry on said farm, two plows and harnesses, two hoes, two axes, one scythe, two sickles. To be for the use of Elizabeth West wife of said West and her five children now at home, to occupy and use the property so long as they choose to reside there with Elizabeth, but when they leave, their interest shall cease. Elizabeth West R 329, 18 jul 1817, Simon west on 8 Sep 1816 sold to John Chambers and Alexander R Depew a tract of land and certain slaves, hogs, horses, cattle, sheep and household furniture in trust for use of Elizabeth, wife of Simeon West, and such of her children as were then resident with her at home. Chambers and Depew, finding it extremely inconvenient to discharge the duties of said trust have agreed to release and reconvey said land and negroes together with the stock, slaves and furniture (Mrs West choice of horse cereatures excepted) as has not been sold by Chambers and Depew, or that have not died, or been used up, and subject also to a term in the tract of land granted by them to Ebenezer Tuggle, an in the Negro Woman Sue to Lynch a McGee, and the boy James to John M Morton. Now John Chambers and Alexander R Depew in consideration of an obligation given to them by West securing to them the payment of $200 annuallyfor the use of Mrs Elizabeth West, wife of Simeon West, and for the further consideratio of one shilling, have granted to Simeon Westt all the land, slaves and personal estate conveyed to them by the deed of trust.
