Thanks for info on Gen. Absolem West and others. The book I copied this information from was not extensive and stated that they only list full general officers (i.e. Lee & Grant) and other officers who were "outstanding". I had two grandfathers in the Civil War. One Union and the other Confederate. Unfortunately they were just privates so were not listed.
