Hello! According to some documents I have found, my ggrandfather Samuel LANE, born 1846, was sent to live with his uncle, Peter Jonathan WEST several times between 1860 & 1866. Peter WEST was a farmer in Monmouth Co. NJ, in the Keyport or Middletownpoint area. This is all the info I have on him at this time.
