The Indiana State Library Genealogy Division has a neat thing on the internet if you want to try it and have WESTS that were married in IN before 1850. Wish it went to 1860, but I know this was a lot of work for them, so I should be grateful for what we have. The state librarian told me the trick was to put in less info not more such as just the last name and county. Does any other state have something like this on that we should know about?
