Hello, Looking for information about the WEST family in Beaver County, PA. My gggreat grandmother was named Urey West. She married Daniel Fisher and had Mary Ann Fisher on Dec. 14,1845. Story goes........ that one of my ggggrandmothers in this line was a full blooded Cherokee Indian. Could this name Urey be a Cherokee name? Another WEST, is my gggreat grandmother Abigail WEST. She was born in Virginia in 1779 to Joseph West. She married Dec. 28,1798 to Samuel MAJORS b. 1778 also Va. Any information shared, would be appreciated! Thank you, Dana Majors-Lewis
