I am still looking for Parker West, born in Virginia, had a daughter Frances B West born in Ohio Abt. November 14, 1826, and a son Alexander, a son Isaac, a daughter Ester, and a daughter Lydia. Frances was in Adams County, Illinois in 1850. No sign of Parker West. I have ruled out a Parker West in Philadelphia in 1850, he was 23 and Black. I have ruled out a Parker West in Alameda Co CA in 1860, he was 29, it appears, and Mulatto. Both of these fellows were also born in Virginia. I don't know Parker's wife's name, or who his parents were. There is a rumor there is Indian blood, and that it came from Emmett Cramer's mother, who was Frances B West Cramer. Other than that, the family is white. One census record recorded her name as Asserkus, instead of Frances or Francis. It also had the notation she was insane. This was in Dodge County Nebraska.
