Has everyone tried searching the IGI available at most LDS Family History Centers? My cousin told me alot was there...I tried looking a couple times and found nothing...but then by spending 2 hours last night I found data from the late 1700's for my ancestor and his siblings! The real trick seemed to be ...use something other than the WEST link...for example, a spouses name, or a middle name for the WEST ....something to set them apart from the ZILLION other Wests that they have records on!! I also had to experiment with spellings...what I was told was JOHN HENSMAN WEST....turned out to show up on church records as JOHN AINSMAN WEST...!!
