Hi Carol, You can find alot of info about William Nelson West's descendants at Patsy West's home page: http://home.stlnet.com/~pawest/home.html. There is a 'Kissin' Cousin' page with email addresses for several members of this line, including Karen West Scott. I don't think Karen is currently subscribed to this list server. The site also has a page that gives a brief description of the soon-to-be-released book. Our West's spent several decades in Mississippi (mid 1820's - 1860) mostly around Wayne and Newton counties. They also spent some time in Caldwell Parish, LA. Many migrated farther west into Texas and Oklahoma. I'm not related to the Davis line referenced in the book so I can't help you there. Hope you find a connection. We'd like to add you to the family. Kerry L.
