Hello, Couslins, I have made the decision to make this a closed list; at least for the time being. We have been under a great many span attacks lately. Some of the servers are evenn going down because of it. Closing the list seems to be the best solution for now. Closing the list simply means that no one who is not a subscriber to the list can post a message to the list. I really would like to keep the lists open so that anyone who has information about our ancestors would be able to post that information. Rootsweb has an excellent program in place to intercept spam before it gets to the list, but this latest attack has even that tool in a panic. I would like to know what you think about keeping the list closed after this crisis has passed. This is really your list, and it is important to include the features you like best.
