Gary, due to your having published the below message on WEST-L, I was able to locate a town in TX, Bronte, that is no longer in existence. In 1997 I was in Dallas at the renowned Dallas Library. The staff there could find no reference to Bronte, Bront, Brunt, etc. Just now I typed in the spelling handed down from an Uncle, Bronte, and guess what? I downloaded significant information on Bronte, TX! Two of our WEST line, so the story goes, went to Bronte, TX in the late 1800's never to be heard of again by the GA WEST line. Thanks to your help, I will be able to attempt tracking them through Coke Co., TX. Thank you for taking the time to send the TX Hand Book On-line URL.
