West (b. ca 1861). Her father was John West and her mother was Mary Jane Hodges. Clarissa had at least one sister, Betsy "Bets", who married Thomas Blackwell after her sister Clarissa died. I have no exact dates, but this all took place in Franklin County, MO. I'm trying to connect Clarissa and Betsy to their parents.
