I have a book of sketches by Levon West (not my family line). It was published in 1930 and has 12 of his sketches, one of the "Spirit of St. Louis" and the others of early western type. According to the book, Levon was born on 3 Feb 1900 in Centerville, SD. His father was a Congregational Minister and his mother, Henrietta West, of NH was a descendant of Benjamin West (the painter).
