I have been looking for a book, "The West Family Register", by Letta B. Stone. I understand if you own just one book on West genealogy, this is the one. I just received several DAR applications on my West line and this book was referenced several times in each application. The book traces West lines from 1326 to 1928 and is 493 pages. The book is out of print and I would imagine some of you already have it but for the newer list subscribers, today I found a company in Salem, Massachusetts that reproduces the book in paper back or hard bound. The paperback edition is $77 and for $10 more dollars you can get the hard bound edition. They have lots of other surname genealogy books as well as a few other West family books.
