Hi All! The number of inquiries I received after my on-line referral to WWWQ, the now-defunct newsletter, prompted me to write about a little-used WEST research tool. Any FHC Library will be able to order the following: WEST GENEALOGY: NOTES OF LETTA BROCK STONE. Film Call # 1421738 concerns primarily WEST families who once lived in NC. Call # 1421737 concerns WEST families who once lived in GA. Other states are covered. My use of the films to date has been limited to those above-cited. For persons unfamiliar with the Family History Centers, the LIbraries offer microfilm (and perhaps other materials such as fiche, published) on a rental basis for research on premises. Each film is more or less, about three dollars for a three week rental period. The materials on WEST families to be found in the above-referenced notes is worth hundreds of times the rental fee(s).
