My dead-end is with Vincent West (or maybe Vinson) who came to Belleville, St. Clair Co, IL around 1818 from Virginia. It appears that he came with his sister Mary. They were part of a group that came to IL from Botetourt Co, VA which included Benjamin H West, Edward William West, Tilghman West, and Washington West. The only Vincent West I find in VA was born in Fairfax Co. in 1800. There was a Mary J West born in Fairfax Co in 1799. Any help would be appreciated. Lowell Griffith
