I have a copy of the Eastern Cherokee application by John Henry West b.07/31/1866 who lived in the town of Vian in the Indian Territory and would love to pass it on to a direct descendent. He md Ophelia ? who was 7 yrs younger according to the application. Sibs were Ellis C., Richard F., Laura B., Llewellyn, Frank, Mary, and Nancy West. I ordered this from DC thinking he may have been my John West, but unfortunately he was not. You may claim it by naming his parents. In the event that more than one descendent claims it I will take the first one and hopefully that individual will copy it and send a copy to the others.
