    3. Every time I go to your web pages I get the feeling that there is so much similarity in how much your WEST's look like my WEST's. You know they say pictures say a lot and that means even looking like other members of lost families. My gr-grandfather, James WEST was born abt 1820 either in KY or TN. According the the 1880 US census of Marshall Co., MS it says he was 60 and that he and his parents were born in TN. His wife, Amanda Jane was, I believe, 30 born in AL. When my mother was born in WA in 1917 I checked the 1920 census for Yakima Co., WA and it said her grandfather, James WEST was born in KY. My grandmother, Pirley Andrew WEST was born in Water Valley, Yalobusha Co., MS 22 Sep 1875 but lived in Byhalia, Marshall Co., MS. Other names married into this family that I know of are Amanda Jane RAGSDALE, Adam PREHER, Lou BOWEN, Samuel ELLIS, etc. What information do you have on other WEST's living in MS in the 1800's? After I get moved to KY I plan on going back to MS and doing some more checking as well as in TN and KY.
