Looking for a James and a Stephen West (brothers). I am estimating thier ages to be probably 60-66 years of age and still living. They are the sons of Basil Johson West & Virginia Mae Lewis. Their father died in 1976 in Titusville, Florida and they are buried in St. Albans, West Virginia. I am hoping to find them and possibly get a DNA test from them for mine and thier West lineage. This line goes back to Richard West of Buckingham Co., VA. I hope someone can help me. Thank you in Advance, Marlene West Perry

Toni, I will get back to you as soon as I can on this. I did find Vincent and his family on the 1880 census and have not been able to find him on any further back. I will keep trying and see what I can find. However, I have been very sick with sinusitis and haven't been doing much with research. I am on the mend and I would not wish what I had on anyone. Did you know that if you don't keep sinusitis in control it can turn into, among other things, menegitis of the brain, which can kill? Get back to you soon. I have been pleased to see that others have been successful in locating cousins who have interest in the same ancestors. So I will try: My great grandfatheer, Nelson Schuyler West was born 10/25/1839 in Grafton, Rensselaer, NY to Francis A. and Lydia Ann (Moriah) West. His first wife was Ora Louisa Bowers, who lived only about 8 years after marriage. He next married the oldest daughter of Ora's older sister, Ada Bradbury in 1873. They lived in what was to become Lebanon, NE. But were divorced in 1898. He subsequently moved to Colorado and lived in and around Boulder, Denver and Ft. Collins where he died 6/16/1922. He was twice married in Colorado. To Abigail E. Adams 1907 and to Minnie B. Donaldson in 1913. Do not know anything about the women, nor anything about him after he left Nebraska. Does anyone have any information on this man? Thank you, Forrest
