    3. Please write to me at karon@yvn.com and give me your address, my computer wouldn't send it because you are not in my address book. And because it is such a big file, lets try the zipped version first. If that doesn't work for you, then we can try the Word, but apparently I need the details of your address. 2. Eva J Ruben
    3. The West name can probably be traced to various sources. My husband's family was in Delaware before 1740 and probably in Northumberland, Virigina in the late 1600's. So far it appears that they came from England. What have all of you been told as to the ethnicity of the surname WEST? My cousins in Illinois were told it was PA Dutch. (I hate tulips LOL) others have said Irish, English and the ever present rumors of Indian. This is a curiosity of mine so please answer. 3. We've got to be related Karon. I'd rather fish that do anything. I'm a legend in my own family for taking the grandkids/kids on road trips/adventures. When I feel better I'll tell you about the wilderness trip my daughter and I took after she graduated from highschool. It was the ultimate mother/daughter bonding moment until........the bear showed up a couple of days after a biker gang out of California on their way to Sturgis. 3. I'm in Billings - the armpit of the state. I grew up in Helena and miss the mountains so badly that I don't feel complete without them. They were right outside my door in Helena, Now I have to drive 45 minutes or up to an hour and a half. I love Washington State. It smells so rich and alive. 3. I just sent you the RTF file Jinny. You should have it, hopefully, by now. Maybe take turns and if people would post to the list, you would have their addresses. I think I am all caught up. Let me know out there if I am not. The greatest people are on the WEST list. Now I have to go say the same thing on all the other Lists. LOL Just kidding. You've all been very courteous and willing to share. 3. OK, send it to me RTF and any address if there is one that hasn't been sent yet and I will get started. I have been in Billings, and Crow Agency, and into Wyoming, but didn't go north enough to see Helena. I like the mountains too. A friend said I should get a cb and my name could be nature girl. I said no, if I had a cb, my name would be "Mountain Crawlin Mama" He sure liked that one. I used to haul my grandkids up old logging roads, mountain roads, just to see where the road went. One time the road was getting so filled with fallen rock I decided I better back out of there. My young grandsons wanted to know why Grandma was going so slow, as they sat in the unprotected back of my pickup. We were way up on a hillside, nothing to catch us if we went over the side and of course, it was a crooked road. They all love the mountains now. Hope that didn't bore all the rest of you West researchers. RTF is a really easy way to send files without going through conversions and the like. You can do it. You're smart. Just go for it.
