As a list member has been posting portions of the Mythos web-site, West area, to the list, I thought it time I, as the Webmaster of said site, should include the url so all could visit it. This is the site started by Angela at Wayward Cats Studio. I've added a web-card database for descendants of James Hampton West who came to Texas in 1830s. His son Wade was a Texas Ranger under Captain Peter F. Tumlinson, who married Harriett Jane West, Wade's sister. Newest addition to site: a West query board. url: http://ccwf.cc.utexas.edu/~shannon1/ All submissions of West info you want included on the site are welcome, including gedcoms to be converted to Web-card databases. West websites send your urls to be added to West-Links. - Richard Shannon

Edith, Sometimes these MIME format postings have information we can use or get leads from. Thanks, Myra for posting a few of them. Why do people send multi-format MIME messages? They are hard to read let alone understand. I plan on deleting them and not even reading them as they take up to much of my time as I am sure that others feel the same way. "Free web-based email available now at http://www.theglobe.com"
When a post is forwarded to the list it comes through as multi mime. I send these as a courtesy to the list when someone attempts to post a message who is not a subscriber, if I think it may be of interest to the list. I then encourage the poster to become a subscriber. As you know, all rootsweb lists are now closed. No one may post to the list who is not a subscriber. Happy hunting, Myra
