The Indiana State Library Genealogy Division has a neat thing on the internet if you want to try it and have WESTS that were married in IN before 1850. Wish it went to 1860, but I know this was a lot of work for them, so I should be grateful for what we have. Looking for information on a Bessie Mae West b- abt 1920 in upstate SC. Parents names were Ace and Polly West. Bessie had two siblings - one brother Theron, and one sister Myrtle. The best Pedigree Source I know is part of the Christ' Hospital - Bluecoat Charity in the name of John West - which still pays out to descendants today 300 years or so later I only have a snail mail address for the West Charities. as I am a potential recipient as my pedigree shows.
