I came across a document while going through my grandmother's papers and found a list of typed names and birthdates. Is anyone familiar with any names? Frederick has long been a brick wall in my research. Frederick West and Mary Jane Allen West are my gg-grandparents. I think these are Frederick's brothers and sisters: Susan West born January 28, 1829 Frederick West born December 13, 1826 Sarah West born 11/1831 (this one doesn't make sense with the next one) Louisa West born March 28, 1831 George L. West born February 27, 1833 Ann H. West born March 3, 1835 Lizzie L. West born December 28, 1841 Parents are Mr. C. West and Temperance West married July 21, 1825. I believe Temperance's maiden name was Sharp as there is reference on the paper to Easley Sharp. Frederick has always stated he was born in Georgia, and was enumerated in Sumter County, Georgia in 1860 from Houston County in 1850. Family lore says Frederick moved his family to Texas in 1872.
Mine are too, but I am thinking about having them removed. ----- Original Message ----- From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Sent: Monday, January 05, 2004 3:44 PM Subject: Re: [WEST-L] James West 1808 NC Mine are. ==== WEST Mailing List ==== Families are like fudge. Joan Taylor [email protected] Thanks
H, In seeing so many messages regarding men by the name of James West, I have a question-do any of you have info on a James West that married Elizabeth Peacock in Burlington County, NJ, in 1778? I am not sure that this information is documented, but have seen it in several mailing lists. I am interested in the Peacock line and would like to know if this marriage actually took place. Thanks, Doris
If you will e-mail me with your name and e-address I will send you the site where they can be located. Marty
Thank you for replying. None of my West are from Mo. Good Luck, Rose

I have a James West 1808 NC...all I know about where he was from is what is on the census from Lafayette Co Mo. His wife is listed as Elizabeth. I don't know who his siblings are. He is my g-g-grandfather. He is buried in Pool cemetery near Mayview, Mo. I would love to find a connection.. I have found several other Wests from that area, a little further south in Johnson Co. Mo, who I feel are connected. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joan Taylor" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, January 02, 2004 1:35 PM Subject: Re: [WEST-L] James West 1808 NC > I am researching this line and would be very interested in any connections.
