Hi Listers, If SKS has access the above census. I would really really appreciate a look up of any Marchant/Marchent/Merchant that may be on it. I have been trying to track an ancestor for about two years now with know success. I have tried the 1851 but to no avail. They originated in Nth Petherton but seems they moved on before 1851. He then travelled out here to Oz before 1858. I do not know if that was as a convict or immigrant. I would think his wife was probably deceased at this time.
