Can anyone tell me anything about Tuckers of BRIDPORT (uk) being in TUCKENHAY, DEVONat the early to mid 1800s. The were engaged in rope, twine, flax, sailcloth, etc. manufacture in Bridport. A document I have read makes mention of the family moving to Tuckenhay for a while. The head of the family was Richard Tucker b Bridport 1803. If anyone has a directory could they see if there were any such businesses in Tuckenhay and under what name they traded. Thank you very much.
