Colleagues The next meeting of the Computer Group of the Oxfordshire Family History Society will be held next Monday 3 February 2003 at Oxford University Computing Services, 13 Banbury Road, Oxford. This is located just to the north of St Giles. Doors open at 7:15 pm for coffee, with the presentation starting at around 7.30pm. The evening will feature a demonstration by Kevin Tomes entitled "Scanning and retouching old photographs". This will be similar to the demonstrations done previously by Kevin at the society's Open Day - except that the superior facilities next week will mean that he is able to use an overhead projector linked to a large screen so that all attendees will have a prime view. Kevin is, of course, a director of the well-known Oxford printing firm "Parchment", and is something of an expert in this field. All members, potential members and their guests are welcome.
