Hello All, I'm new to this list and would like to post my interests: NEVELL City of Oxford and Great Tew, Oxon BROOKS West Hanney, Berks BAILEY Swallowfield, Berks My ggg grandfather William Nevell (b 1804/5 Great Tew, d 1883 Oxford) married Jane Hunter Brooks of West Hanney. I believe she was the daughter of Giles Brooks and Jane Hunter. I haven't been able to take either line back any further. My gg grandfather (on another side) Charles Bailey was born in 1809 in Swallowfield and was the son of Charles Robert Henry Bailey, also of Swallowfield. He had a brother, Frederick, and both were the sons of Charles Bailey of Swallowfield (d 1805) and his wife Elizabeth. If anyone else is researching these families I'd be delighted to hear from them.
