Thanks to Ian and Elizabeth for the info they have provided about the census 1851. These are the same as the entries given by Elizabeth recorded as STERRING or SHORNEY on Gordon Beavington's version. May I ask if the spelling was the same as on your version Ian, if it was a different version of the 1851?
