I am trying to find out where my Gt Gt Gt Grandfather Charles Dunford was born unfortunately the evidence is contradictory. Briefly this is what is known Charles was born about 1830 and according to the Free BMD married Phyllis Matthews somewhere near Dorchester Sept qtr 1850. On the 1851 census Charles and Phyllis are listed in Toller Porcorum and Charles's place of birth is shown as Chilfrome. Unfortunately there appear to be no baptism record for Charles here. On the 1881 census Charles and Phyllis were living in Markbury Somerset and Charles's place of birth is listed as Queen Charlton. Does any one have access to the parish records for Queens Charlton if so would they be prepared to do a look up? Thanks in anticipation Andrew Pardoe
