George Watts was born about 1811 in "Bowshepe", which may be in Sussex or Kent (but is not to be found in any map or gazetteer I have ever seen) or he may have been born in Taunton, Somerset. What is certain is that he was married to Minerva Sweet in Stoke St Gregory, Somerset, in 1830 and that is where they stayed for the rest of their lives, as did several of their children. Is anyone else interested in this family? Can anyone suggest where Bowshepe may be? Or has anyone spotted a baptism for George Watts anywhere in Somerset around the year 1811? Sara White
