I have just been informed that the local community board has awarded $1000 NZ to plant a median strip with these early daffodils. But the local authority says they cant find them! If anyone can give me information on how to find a source for them I would be most grateful. The stip is outside the home of the man most entitled to be called our "First Colonist" but he has never been recognized. Not only was he an avid gardener but also was chairman of the huge Hagley Park Gardens until he died. This would be a most appropriate way to give him the applause he never received in life.
