Hi listers Last Autumn, this society produced its first CD of Monumental Inscriptions. This was based on the parish of Horspath, and contained photographs of the church and each individual headstone, as well as a transcription of each MI. Navigation on the CD is by means of a clickable plan view of the churchyard. The data is in HTML format. It requires a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, to be installed on the user's computer. It does not require that you have an internet connection. I'm now pleased to advise you that the society's second such Monumental Inscriptions CD is about to be released on general sale. This is based on the parish of Eynsham, and similarly contains photographs of the church and each individual headstone, as well as a transcription of each MI. Again, navigation is by means of a clickable plan view of the churchyard. At the moment, just the Horspath CD appears on the society's website. However, Eynsham will appear on there in a couple of days.
