Hi All, I wonder if someone might have access to the parish records for Road in Somerset? and could trawl through a 50 year period for a particular name? I have a family of CABELLs who were living in Road, in the parish of North Bradley, Wilts from around 1730 to 1780. This would literally be just 'across the road' from Road parish in Somerset - as the county boundary went down the middle of the street. And would mean that the parish church (St Lawrence?) in Road would have been a lot closer than the North Bradley parish church. I'd be extremely grateful for references to any Cabell/Cabbell/Cable events occurring in the time frame mentioned, baptisms, marriages or deaths. I have in the past been able to get to Taunton, but I only copied out the Rossiter events as I was unaware of the Cabell connection at the time. All the best & Thanks in advance Dave Rossiter
