Hello Dave, I have Hayter's in my family. I have a Hannah Hayter, died before 9 Nov 1802 in Durnford. She married John Sopp, a blacksmith who died before 1801 (have copies of their wills). Unfortunately that's the extent of my knowledge of the Hayter's. If Hannah is mentioned or the Sopp's/Alsop in the book, please let me know.
