Hi Listers My 2GGF, Charles COX, was born in Chilcompton in 1814 to farmer, William COX and Mary. I can find nothing more about his origins - Mary's maiden name, parents of William and Mary, Charles's siblings - zilch! He married Charlotte BEACHAM in Stanton Drew in 1836 and they had 13 sons and one daughter, of whom I have found six sons and Sarah, the daughter. What became of the other seven sons? Can anyone advise me where to start looking for all this missing info, please? Also, where would Chilcompton parish records be available? Kind regards Joy
