Hi Tim The Ancestry website indicates that none of the 1901 census for Wales is on-line yet. (However some/all of Wales is loaded for 1871/1881/1891) The 1891 census shows a Walter SMART aged 24 living in Merthyr Dovan (Dyfan on modern maps), Glamorgan with wife Sarah and 1 year old son Walter (born Barry, Glamorgan).
