Hi This is my first posting to this list and I am hoping SKS can help me solve a bit of a puzzle I have. I am trying to find out more details about the Reverend John Victor, b. c. 1819 in Sancreed, Cornwall who married Jane Behenna, b. c. 1811 in St Ives. They were married at the Register Office in Clifton, Bristol on the 30th July 1845. John was a noted Wesleyan Minister who spent the last 40 years of his life as the pastor of Copse Road Chapel, Seavale Road, Clevedon, Somerset. He died on the 3rd February 1894 in Clevedon so he must have been the pastor there from about 1854 until his death. I would like to know if this church is still is still there and if so would they be likely to have any records of John. My other query relates to his 2nd marriage.which took place between Janes death, in about 1878, and the 1881 census. In the 1881 census Johns wifes name is, I think, 'Ketura' and she was b. c. 1849 in Scotland. I have been unsuccessful in tracing a marriage for them but perhaps I should be looking for it in Scotland. I would really like to find out who she was and would be most grateful for any help anyone can give me Thank you in advance Liz
