I am wondering if anyone has knowledge of a HUNT family in Bridgwater, Somerset. My maternal GG Grandmother was Caroline Hunt, b. about 1838, in Census returns her birthplace was always Bridgewater, but I do not have her in 1841. She is in the 1851 for Calne, Wiltshire, with her Husband, Charles Flay, b. 1828 Calne. There aged 24. Extensive searching of the GRO indexes has failed to reveal a marriage or birth for her. Also an expensive search by Somerset RO failed to find a birth or their marriage. The word MOTIVATION, also pricks my conscience in another way. I have many facts on family lines but am not doing very well in writing it up in a form that could be displayed to family who are interested and keep asking how I am getting on. Apart from 'getting started' seeming to be the biggest hurdle, I dither over what sort of structure to adopt. Any suggestions or formula gratefully received.
