Thomas b. 1801 - 1805 in Spetisbury, Dorset. Jemima may have died during his birth or shortly afterwards as Nathaniel married again in late 1805. I don't have access to any Spetisbury data, but as On-Line Parish Clerk for the adjacent parish of Tarrant Crawford I took a look at the Bishop's Transcripts (transcribed by Christine Crawford and housed on my Tarrant Crawford web pages, see http://www.jimella.nildram.co.uk/tcrawfrd.htm). I didn't find the marriage you asked for, but you may be interested in this one: 26 July 1778 (Antiock) Nathaniel Chafey married Sarah Seborough The "Antiock" indicates the neighbouring village of Tarrant Antiock (or Antioch), now called Tarrant Rawston. There are no baptism or burials recorded for Chaffey or Chafey, and only the one marriage.
