Nancy, I remember many years ago, a student of mine was tracing the name of Richings and discovered that the name was often spelt as RICHENS. Have you tried that spelling variation? Yes, thanks I have tried every possible variation on the spelling. It is frequently mispelled Ritchings or the s left off. It seems such a simple name, but difficult to research.
