My longstanding brick wall is HARFORD. My ancestor Samuel HARFORD was baptised in Heytesbury on 12 Nov 1808 at the same time as his brother Robert. Parents names were William HARFORD and Elizabeth. I have quite a lot of information on Samuel, very little on Robert and can find no other references to William and Elizabeth, the parents, at all. It's as though they breezed into Heytesbury, baptised the two kids then disappeared! Samuel married Mary Anne Brown in Heytesbury on 22 Sep 1830 so it would seem likely he grew up in or nearby to Heytesbury. Robert and his wife, also Mary Anne, baptised their son Robert in Heytesbury 20 Jan 1834. Samuel migrated to South Australia in 1837. Robert may have emigrated as well but whereabouts unknown. What happened to William & Elizabeth? Where did they marry, live, die? Where did Robert marry and what was his wife's surname? Where did he go after 1834? Any ideas will be most appreciated Eileen
