Hi, The further I go back the more Wiltshire comes into my tree.I have just found my G/G/Great grandparents Henry Targett and Mary Surman married in 1827 in Fisherton Anger, Wiltshire.Mary was born their in 1807. I have looked on my map and can only find Fisherton de La Mere I wonder if this is the same place. Cheers Steve

    3. Hi Steve I had a similar problem and Paul Benyon kindly sent me the following info:- Fisherton Anger (FA) is older than Salisbury and was known in the Domesday Book as "Fiscarton". However, time marches on and Salisbury has now consumed FA, which now forms the north west suburb of the newer City.
