    3. Hello Pam, The National Archives of Australia is a great link for Government documents including WW1 and 2, also NSW Government records site gives you census, old government secretary letters, immigration, convicts etc. BDM's site gives you marriages and deaths up to 1945 and births up 1905. You could also visit the War Memorial site: http://www.ww2roll.gov.au/ http://naa12.naa.gov.au/scripts/ResearcherScreen.asp http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/familyHistory/search.htm http://www.records.nsw.gov.au/ Hope these are some use to you. I have found a greatuncle from Oxford who went out to relatives in the Beverley area. Now I would like to trace these WALKERS, who I think emigrated in the 19th century. Can David or anyone one else from Aus let me know the best sites to visit? I am new to the list and am researching WALKER and TIMS in Oxfordshire,HEXT in Hampshire and Dorset, and FLEW in Devon. Pam. West Sussex.
