Tim, Minehead parish registers are on line to early 1901 as also are Dunster's. Can't really help you that much except I do have the censuses for the Carhampton hundred, so could do a look up for 1891 if that is of any help. I also have a copy of T.L. Stoate's transcription of Carhampton parish registers to 1837. Williams families appeared to be quite numerous in that parish, while there is only a handful in Minehead and they were probably a spill over anyway. I have an interest in Williams of Minehead as my great aunt Sarah Stacey Parsons married a widower Robert Williams in 1910. He was a carpenter. He married a Georgina X c 1885, and they baptized children in Minehead between 1886 and 1891. Hubert rang a bell, as Sarah Stacey's brother also died in WW1, but unfortunately there any similarity appears to end. Anyway, do let me know if I can assist you. Rosemary Connecticut
