Wednesday, June 25, 1941 The Halifax Chronicle Herald Nephew Lost in Hood Sinking. PARRSBORO, N.S. June 24 - C. J. Tracey, of this town has received word that his nephew, Chief Petty Officer Albert Tracey was lost when H.M.S. Hood was sunk by emeny action. He was the son of Mr and Mrs Emmet Tracey of Portsmouth, Eng., by whom he is survived; also by one sister, married and living in Scotland and one brother, Fred, serving with an anti-tank corps. ---------------------------------------------------------------
