Help Has anybody else experienced this one? My gg grandparents, Joseph BUCKINGHAM and Amanda LEY, were born (respectively) in 1835 Warwickshire and 1854 Sussex. They married in 1872 in East Stonehouse. They then had a daughter in 1873 in Plymouth. Then they disappeared! Amanda reappeared as a widow on the 1891 East Stonehouse census. However, neither Joseph nor Amanda (nor any children of theirs) appear on the 1881 census that I can find. Does anybody have any ideas as to where they might have gone, or where I should look next?
