Forwarded: Dear Listers, I am researching my 3xG.Grandfather, he was a JOHN LANGFORD a BLACKSMITH, who married his 2nd wife a MARY ANN TRUEMAN in CHARD on 28.8.1826, having been born himself in 1780 he was many years older than her. They moved to JERSEY in the CHANNEL ISLANDS before the 1841 Census. (he may have had a daughter called SUSAN by his 1st wife). I have copies of all the Census concerned but I am looking for his Birth place. Are there any Pigots/Kellys etc that would cover CHARD and its surrounding area before 1841??. Has anyone heard of this family or has it in their Family Tree please? Regards Audrey in King's Lynn
